The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to expedite the activities of trap cases across the country to check bribery at the field level.

The Commission has taken the decision following reports of different studies and information from public hearsay that most of the incidents of corruption at field level are related to bribery, ACC Director General (DG) Colonel Hanif told reporters here on Thursday.

He said the commission in principle has decided to give away attractive awards to the persons providing information on bribery or helping arrest of the persons involved in bribery red-handed.

A directive in this regard will be sent to all divisional and coordinated district offices very soon, the DG added.
