Foreign Advisor Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury wrote a letter to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Tuesday requesting his "personal initiative" to resolve all outstanding issues with regard to Bangladeshi workers in Kuwait.

Iftekhar who is also in charge of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment thanked the Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister for the measures taken so far to address the issue by the Kuwaiti government.
