Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) in collaboration with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) confiscated illegal VOIP machines worth Tk 2 crore from three places in the capital on Sunday and Monday.

They confiscated the illegal VOIP machines from Indira Road, West Shewrapara and WASA road of Mirpur.

The coordination committee of the two organisations led drive and confiscated 342 Telulars, 22 Quintum Gateways and one Panel Bank. BTRC filed cases against accused persons. An official of BTRC said they would continue drive as a part of their regular drive.
