People of Brahmankhali village under Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj caught a robber when he and his associates were taking preparation for committing robbery on the 2nd July at night.

Sensing the presence of the people 7 others fled away from the scene. People recovered 4 big knives and 2 grill cutters from the spot left by the robbers. The caught robber was identified as Delwar Hossain, son of Abdur Rahshid Mullah hailing from Chogaria village of Narsingdi district. People handed over him tot he police and 2 separate cases were filed with the Rupganj thana in connection with the robbery and possessing arms.
