A disabled uncle was killed allegedly by his nephew at Narayanpur of Kendua pourashava in the district in a clash between the family members.

Police and locals said, the clash started centering over a land-related dispute. Mukhlesur Rahman, 54, a disabled person of Narayanpur village was killed in the clash as he was hit with a sharp weapon allegedly by his nephew Shafiqul Islam, 23. Three other members of his family were also injured in the clash. Police rushed to the spot and arrested the alleged killer Shafiqul Islam and his father Atiqur Rahman.

Police sent the body to Netrakona Sadar hospital morgue for postmortem.

A murder case was filed with Kendua police station.
