Nurtaz Begum, wife of Alhaj Mafijur Rahman and mother of Dr Saidur Rahman Hilali, Academic Director, University of Information Technology and Science (UITS) died of old-age complications in Chittagong Medical College Hospital on July 22 last. She was 78.

She left behind husband, six sons and five daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death, says a press release.

Officials, employees of UITS have condoled the death of Nurtaj and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
