Rajshahi University Economics Society, an organisation of Rajshahi University Economics Department, organised a seminar on the national budget for 2008- 2009 on the campus on Wednesday.

Held at the hallroom of the economics department, the seminar was chaired by the chairman of the department Prof. M. Mohsin Ali.

Fahad Akther presented their research papers in the seminar. RU teachers Prof. Dr Tareq Saiful Islam, Dr ANK Noman, Dr Eliyas Hossain, and Dr Abdul Wadud spoke on the occasion. M. Hanifa Liton and Mahmuda Shirin Munmoon conducted the programme.
