Final voter lists for the voters of Fulchari upazila prepared by Bangladesh Army were handed over to the authority of District Election Officer here On July 26.

A simple function organised by district control cell, fresh voters lists with photographs, national identity card issuance project, was held at the conference cenre of Gaibandha Army camp here on Saturday. Major Arif, camp incharge, formally handed over the final voter lists with photographs of Fulchari upazila to District Election Officer Syed Ali Imam as chief guest.

A total of 87,628 voters including 42,460 male voters have registered their names with the voter lists in the upazila.

Receiving the final voter lists of the upazila, Syed Ali Imam, district election officer, thanked Bangladesh Army for making a fresh voter list in due time. The voter lists would be published for all very soon, he also said.
