Chittagong City Corporation (CCC), even after repeated requests from the citizens, has not yet taken any move to renovate the rain-damaged city streets.

A field investigation revealed that the CCC men had only leveled some of the potholes while majority of bumpy roads left untouched doubling the commuters suffering.

Intersection at Bahaddarhat, Oxygen Square, Bahaddarhat-Shah Amanat link road and Kalurghat roads are unfit for vehicular traffic. Incessant heavy shower and subsequent water-logging in June destroyed the majority of the road carpeting slowing the traffic flow in most cases resulting in unusual traffic congestion at places.
