Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized a touchstone statue and arrested three persons during an anti-crime drive at a remote village in Naogaon district last night.

Acting on a tip-off, members of the elite force conducted the drive at Bamanchhata village under Mohadevpur upazila and seized a 71-kilogram statue worth about Taka one crore, police said.

The arrested were Khademul Islam, 45, Mosharraf Hossain, 42, and Delwar Hossain, 36.

The arrested persons and the statue were handed over to the concerned police station.
