A day-long workshop on shrimp cultivation was held here in the Matsy Bhaban Thursday.

Chaired by Deputy Director of Fisheries Department Abdul Azim, the workshop on 'Implementation Strategy of Tradability in Shrimp Valuechain' focused the overall development of shrimp cultivation in the southern districts.

Prof Dr Md Kamal of Bangladesh Agriculture University, Deputy Commissioner Monjur-e-Elahi, RFL Project Director Sheikh Mostafijur Rahman and ARD Project Director Nasir Uddin Md Humayun attended as special guests. At least 50 shrimp culturists from six southern districts of the region attended the workshop.
