A day-long workshop on safe urea fertilisers by the popularisation use of the leaf colour chart system (LCC system) was held at Gopalganj Sadar upazila parishad auditorium, organised by Agriculture Extension Depart-ment Gopalganj on Wednes-day. The day-long workshop on the safe urea fertilisers by the popularisation use of the leaf colour chart (LCC) system was inaugurated by S.M. Ashfaque Hussain Deputy Commissioner Gopalganj. It was presided over by Mohammad Shakwat Hossain Deputy Director of the Agriculture Extension Department Gopalganj.

It was addressed among others by the Mohammad Mansumur Rahman UNO Gopalganj Sadar, representative of the leader of the Gopalganj Army Camp Captain Mehedi, Dulal Chandra Sarker AGM Bangladesh Krishi Bank Gopalganj Regional office. Probir Kumar Roy ASP (Circle), Nikhil Kumar Saha Gopalganj sadar upazila agriculture oficer, Bikash Chandra Biswas Tungipara agriculture officer, Molla Humayun Kabir Training officer Khamerbari Thanapara Gopalganj.

The speakers urged the farmers to use fertilisers by the leaf colour chart (LCC) system and safe the 23% area fertilisers.
