Attempt to build graveyard on vested property in Rupganj

A Correspondent, Rupganj

A group of dishonest influentials are trying to establish a graveyard illegally close to "Tengratek Govt Primary School" on a vested property at Rupganj Narayanganj.

Some dead bodies were forcibly buried here in spite of protest by teachers, students, managing committee and locals.

The school children were dreadfully panic stricken watching the situation. The group have already started extortion collection to raise fund for this work. Locals said that vested land cannot be allowed to use in this regard. Sree Krishna Das, Chairman of Managing Committee of this school says, "Locals as well as I submitted petitions to the UNO, Rupganj on the 18th December 2007 and to the DC Narayanganj on the 3rd March 2008 but they yet to take any action against this misdeed.

He added," in the meantime some students have left the school in fear locals feared that the school will be absolutely evacuated unless the graveyard building is stopped.
