Tarique Ziaur Rahman Sirazi, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Persian Language and Literature, University of Dhaka has been awarded PhD degree in the Syndicate meeting of University of Dhaka. His topic of research was 'Muslim mind and humanity in Iqbal's poetry.' Dr. Umme Salma, Professor and Chairperson of the Dept. of Urdu, University of Dhaka was his Supervisor. Tarique Sirazi is the eldest son of eminent jounalist and litterateur Prof. Sirajul Haque and Momtaz Hosneara Haque. His village is Rasulpur of Charfession P.S. under the district of Bhola.
