Two hundred and fifty one teachers of the Dhaka University said a conspiracy against the national security, Independence and Sovereignty of Bangladesh was being hatched by a regional dominant power.

At a statement, they also said the power was trying to make Bangladesh as subjugated country by the indiscriminate killing of the Bangladeshi innocent farmers and BDR men intruding into Bangladeshi areas.

The statement was signed by Prof Dr Sadrul Amin, president of Dhaka University Teacher Association (DUTA) on behalf of the teachers.

Prof Dr Aminur Rahman Majumder, Prof Dr Sirajul Islam, Prof Dr Tazmery SA Islam, Prof Kamrul Ahsan Chowdhury, Prof Dr Mabubullah, Prof Dr Akhter Hossain Khan, Prof Ferdous Hossain and Prof Dr Sukomal Barua were among those who gave the statement.
