A rally against drugs was held at Jibannagar upazila parishad auditorium of the district yesterday.

The rally was organised by the Jibannagar Pourasabha Authority.

Mr. Moshiur Rahman, acting Mayor of Jibannagar Pourasabha, presided over the rally. Mr. Mofizuddin Ahammed, Superintendent of Police, was present at the rally as chief guest. Mr. Ashraful Islam UNO and Nurul Amin O.C. of Jibannagar were the special guests.

Speakers Munshi Abdus Sattar, Mir Mahtab Ali, Abdul Quader, Abdul Latif Amal, Ayesha Sultana, poura councillors Bazlur Rahman and Farhana Aktar attended the seminar.

The speakers stressed the need for starting social movement unitedly against drugs for stopping it forever. They also said everybody should take part against drugs to save the nation.
