A private car driver, Delwar Hossain (29) of Ghandarbopur village, under Tarabo pouras-hava, Rupganj, Naraya-nganj was killed in broad daylight allegedly by terrors on 3 August 2007 at Madhubazar area of Dhanmondi-15. Terrors shot Delwar at randon while he was drinking tea sitting on a bench of a stall at about 2 PM at Madhubazar near Rayer Bazar.

Terrors were able to escape from the scene after confirming his death. Panic spreaded in the surroundings. Though some shopkeepers and others witnessed the incident none came to rescue him in fear of the killers. In this regard Jyotsna Begum, sister of the deceased, filed a murder case at Dhanmondi thana on 3-7-07, No-2. The plaintiff claims that the police is trying to influence over the case being biased of the accused. Accordingly a petition was submitted to the Police Commissioner by Jyotsna Begum on the 29th June for taking action and arresting the killers of Delwar.
