Dhaka's Mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka yesterday submitted his bail bond of Taka 20,000 to the court while Md Azizul Haque, Metropolitan Sessions Judge of Dhaka received the bail bond. Meanwhile, detained Juba Dal General Secretary Moazzem Hossain Alal was arrested again at the jail gate under Emergency Power Rules after he was released in another case. Alal was sent to jail.

As court fixed July 17, next date of the graft case, filed against Khoka, he will have to appear before the court on the day.

Moazzem Hossain Alal was newly arrested following a GD with Lalbagh Thana of Dhaka. On February 8, Alal was first arrested under Emergency Power Rules and he was sent to Rangpur jail.

Once High Court Division allowed him bail but he was arrested again from Rangpur jail gate. It was learned that Alal's mother heard the news and died of heart attack. While narrating these yesterday, Alal burst into tears.

Metropolitan Magistrate Faisal Atique bin Kadir ordered for his necessary treatment and division in the jail. However, he rejected the bail petition submitted on behalf of Juba Dal General Secretary Alal.

More than 900 Advocates including Advocates Khorshed Alam Mia, Faridul Islam, Yusuf Hossain and Joynal Abedin Mesbah appeared in the court on behalf of Alal.
