A road accident occurred at Barpa bus station under Rupgonj Upazila in Narayangonj on the 9th July last. A Dhaka-bound overloaded truck hit a person who was waiting for a bus.

Locals rushed him to the nearby hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. The dead body was identified as Shaheen Kadir (36), son of Kafil Uddin of the Tagoregawn upazila of the same district who was a store- keeper of Onteem Nit Composite Ltd., Rupgonj, Narayangonj. A case has been filed with the Rupgonj Thana and dead body has been sent to the morgue for autopsy.
