4 killed in road Accidents UNB, Dhaka Four people were killed and 60 others injured in separate road accidents in Keraniganj upazila and Memensingh district Thursday. In Mymensingh, three people, including a woman, were killed and 40 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses at Taldighi in Tarakanda thana on Mymensingh-Haluaghat road. Two of the deceased were identified as Abdul Hossain,40 and Rebeka Sultana,35 while another could not be identified. Police said a Sherpur bound bus collided with another bus coming from opposite direction at about 10.30 am, killing three people on the spot. Eight of the injured were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in critical condition. In Keraniganj, a man was killed and 20 others were injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Kadampur in Dakkhin Keraniganj. Witnesses said the Dohar bound bus from Dhaka fell into a ditch when its driver lost control over the steering at about 8 am, killing the unidentified man on the spot. The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Conditions of the three injured people were stated to be critical.
