For admission to HSC, Notre Dam College did not ask for attested copies of SSC exam result from school and attested copies of photographs. Thanks to the authority. This indicates that the college authority is fully aware of the electronic system of publishing result. In many colleges, the authority asked for attested copies of transcript along with attested copies of photographs for admission. The Education Board has presented detailed results in such a manner that there is no scope of manipulation of results.

We went to collect admission form from Rajuk Uttara Model School and College today. There was a big queue of more than half a kilometer in length at 10:00 am for collection of forms. Both boys and girls including parents were in the queue. The speed at which forms were distributed, I thought it would take at least 5-6 hours for collection of form if I had been there at the tail end of the queue. I just tried to think of same hassle during submission of the forms to the college. Immediately I thought that the authority could find an alternate way of distributing forms which could also be practiced by all other educational institute. The college authority could upload the admission form in their website which any student could download from cybercafé as we did for DV Lottery and fill in the form either using ball pen or computer compose. The fees for the form could still be collected by the authority during submission of forms either in cash or bank draft. I tried to remember what we did during our time.

There were forms in front of college office room. We collected a form, filled in and deposited the form in the box like voter ballot box. Couple of days later, the names of candidates was published in the notice board along with date of interview. I would urge upon either the Education Board or individual college authority to use a generic admission form that could be used for admission in any college uploaded in internet or may be collected from college and submit the same along with fees either in cash or demand draft. The students may be asked to drop the application form submitted along with payment of fees in the form of demand draft or cash. Interestingly, I have found admission forms of Notre Dam College which was used in 2005 and Rifle Public College used in 2007. Thus it is possible to upload admission form in word format or pdf in website of respective college or education board. This will relieve students and parents from hassle.
