An agreement on remittance was signed recently between Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and Jalalabad Money Transfer and Travels Ltd at a function held at the Head Office of Jalalabad Money Transfer and Travels Ltd, UK.

Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Head of International Banking Wing and Sayed Usama Al Musaddek, Executive Director of Jalalabad Money Transfer and Travels Ltd signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

The function was attended, among others, by Sheikh Md Abdul Awal, Director, Jalalabad Money Transfer and Travels Ltd.

With this agreement Bangladeshi expatriates working in the UK can send their money through Jalalabad Money Transfer and Travels Ltd in a sound, easy and safe manner.

Through different modernised technologies along with larger banking channel and internet facility Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited now ensures receiving money sent by the expatriates to their recipients in a shorter period than before.

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, the leading bank in respect of collecting remittance has by now signed instant cash agreement with 77 banks and exchange houses and spot cash agreement with 43 institutions around the globe.
