A young man in the city demanded the arrest of a swindler, owner of a travel agency, and the return of his money.

Mizanur Rahman, an orphan from Barisal, paid Tk 200,000 to Belal Hossain, owner of Hasnae Tours and Travels at Karwan Bazar in the city, for going to Saudi Arabia on a work visa one year ago.

Mizan alleged that Ali Akbar the broker of Hasnae Tours and Travels tried to send him to Saudi Arabia at least 7 to 8 times but when he failed, he and Akbar contacted the Government approved medical centre for cross checking his medical report. There they came to know that someone else had already flown to Saudi Arabia on his papers.

"I filed a GD with Tejgaon Police Station in this connection," he said.

Mizan demanded the return of his money and a stop to the death threat being issued by Belal to him.
