Rangpur-Dinajpur Rural Service (RDRS) conducted a cattle vaccination programme at Rupali Singhimari Federation ground in Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat to save lives of cattle from different diseases on Monday.

The NGO, with assistance of Upazila Livestocks Department organised the cattle vaccination as part of its regular annual programme of vaccinating cattle to save their lives from various diseases including Khurarog, Gola Phula, Torka and Badla.

Hatibandha Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Jahangir Alam and Assistant Upazila Manager (Livestocks) of RDRS Sharifa Pasha conducted the vaccination programme in presence of the owners of the cattle, local public representatives.

A total of 910 cows were provided with vaccines.
