BSS, Narsingdi

The general meeting of Narsingdi Foundation and stipend distribution among 59 meritorious students was held at Deputy Commissioner's conference room on Sunday.

With Mostafa Kamal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in the chair, the function was attended by Zillar Rahman, Deputy Commissioner and chairman of the Narsingdi Foundation as the chief guest.

It was addressed, among others, by Mohammad Ali, former Principal of Narsingdi Government College, Prof. Shah Halimuzzaman, Abdur Rahman Bhuiyan, president of Narsingdi Press Club, Mosharaf Hossain, president of Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce, treasurer of the foundation Sarker Adam Ali, journalists Halal Miah, Muslim Uddin Mollah, Sattar Bhuiyan and Momen Sarker.

Each of the students was given Taka 2,500 as stipend.
