Nineteen shops, illegally occupied by some businessmen, were reclaimed at New Super Market of Baitul Mukarram Market yesterday.

Executive Magistrate of Dhaka Collectorate Mohammad Quamruzzaman with the help of DMP in a drive reclaimed the shops from the illegal possession of the businessmen who had occupied them for a long time.

The illegal occupants fled away after removing their goods from the shops.

The shops worth about Tk. 20 crore were handed over to Islamic Foundation authorities.
