Speakers at a certificate giving ceremony here today underscored the need for acquiring proper knowledge on information technology and computer for ensuring quality education in the 21st century.

They said this while addressing the concluding ceremony of a training course organised by BIAM Foundation, Rangpur at the auditorium of BIAM Model School and College in the city with Additional District Magistrate and Director of BIAM Foundation, Rangpur Faruque Hossain in the chair.

Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur Khondker Atiar Rahman attended as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the college, school and Madrasha level teachers, who successfully completed basic computer course at the Foundation.

Principal of Rangpur BIAM Model School and College Abdur Rashid, Principal of BIAM Laboratory School Mrs Wahida Begum Course Coordinator of BIAM Foundation Atikur Rahman, addressed, among others. The speakers asked the teacher's community for devoting themselves to their noble profession and to conduct their moral obligation and responsibility to further improve education standard using the latest technologies for producing brilliant citizens.
