Rangpur-Dinajpur Rural Service (RDRS) with the assistance of Upazila Lives-tocks Department and Polli Artho-Samajik Unna-yan Parishad (PAUP) conducted a cattle vaccination progr-amme at Birganj upazila town of Dinajpur district on Saturday.

The RDRS organised the programme with a view to save lives of the cattle heads and chicks of the aboriginal people from various diseases including Torka, Badla, Khurarog and chicks diseases.

Birganj Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Abdur Rahim, Executive Director of PAUP Nur Hossain Hiru, Manager of RDRS (Crops) Rabiul Karim, local elite and journalists were present while conducting the vaccination programme.

The NGO has been conducting the vaccination programme in the remote areas of all eight districts of greater Rangpur as a part of its annual programme, the RDRS officials said.
