Four new roads have been named after four distinguished persons including three valiant freedom fighters in Kashba Poursabha in the district. The roads were formally inaugurated on Friday. Kashba Upazila Nirhabi Officer Mohammad Jahangir Alam unveiled the plaques in presence of freedom fighters and local elite.

The new name of the roads are Sector Commander Shaheed Khaled Mosharraf, Bir Uttam Road, Sector Commander Shaheed Lt. Azizul Islam, Bir Bikram Road, Freedom fighter Shaheed Syed Imam Hossain Road and Peer Kamel Asgar Ahmed Road.
