7 shops gutted in Chandpur BSS, Chandpur Seven shops were gutted and twelve persons injured in a devastating fire at Matlab upazila Bazar on Friday night. Police said the fire was originated from a shop and soon spread to adjacent shops causing severe damage to six other shops. Fire fighter from Chandpur rushed the spot and controlled the fire with the help of local people after one-hour efforts. Twelve people were injured in the incident.
