'Ganga Snan’ celebrated in Magura Our Correspondent, Magura The 'Ganga-snan' (bath in river Ganga), a Hindu religions festival, was celebrated at river Nabaganga in Alam Kholi Bazar of Magura sadar upazila recently. A large mumber of Hindu male, female and children bathe there and threw coconut for the worship of goddess Ganga there. The puja of goddess mother Ganga was also celebrated with due solemnily and befittingmanner. A colourful fair was also held there. About one thousands shops of varieties of articles, were installed there.
