A charge sheet was yesterday submitted to a Dhaka Court against former Home Minister Altaf Hossain Chowdhury in a scam case.

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Deputy Director Md. Moniruzzaman Khan completed inquiry and submitted the charge sheet to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka. Twenty -eight persons were made witness in the case.

The case was filed with Ramna Thana of the city on December 18, last year. Altaf Hossain was accused of amassing wealth worth Taka 1,53,52,367 beyond his known sources of income and concealing facts about his wealth to the tune of Taka 55,60,250.
