Citycell customers to enjoy special service from JBFH

Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (Pvt) Limited and Citycell signed a 'Telehealth Services Agreement' on Wednesday at Citycell Head Office, Mohakhali in the city.

Under this agreement, Citycell customers will be able to contact specialised doctors of Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (Pvt) Ltd for 24-hour health advice by dialing 10600 from their Citycell phones.

Dr Sarder A Nayeem, Chairman of Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (Pvt) Ltd and Citycell CEO Michael Seymour signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

They expressed their appreciation and mutual interest in taking this initiative further. Both parties agreed that this arrangement would pave the way for developing more diverse and customer-friendly solutions by merging telecommunication technology with medical services to reach people living in even the remotest parts of the country.

Dr Jonaid Shafiq, Managing Director, Mahbubul Alam Babu, Executive Director of Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (Pvt) Ltd and Md Mahfuzur Rahman, Deputy Chief Technology, Ms Sania Mahmood, General Manager, Marketing Communications and Branding, MBM Lutful Hadee, Deputy General Manager of Taxation, Legal and Company Affairs of Citycell and other officials of both the organisations were present at the signing ceremony.
