The Dhanmondi thana police yesterday returned some more documents and

others materials of Awami League president Sheikh Hasina, which were seized on July 16 last year at the time of her arrest.

Advocate Kamrul Islam, a lawyer of Sheikh Hasina and also Acting General Secretary of Dhaka city Awami League said the police gave back most of her articles including documents, computer and CDs yesterday.

He told newsmen that the police has assured to return main documents of Babgabandhu Memorial Trust, chequebooks, cashbooks and other materials within a few days.

The police have also unlocked the chest of Sheikh Hasina, which was sealed when she was arrested.

The Dhanmondi police returned three passports of Hasina on June 9 her private car and mobile phone sets on June 11.
