a cottage was made

on the bank of the river Chankhali

were I have been waiting constantly.

the surrounding air is moving

upwards by dancing

and towards the sea

its water is rapidly flowing.

the river is gently murmuring

and the boat on its water

is moving by mild tilting.

the yellow sun-rays are slowly

scattering in the evening.

Being hopeful since then

I have been waiting eagerly

sometimes on this bank

sometimes on that bank

of the river Chankhali.

I have been restlessly waiting

with the hope since morning

as you are coming.
