323 sacks fertiliser seized in Chuadanga

Members of the joint forces seized 323 sacks of illegally stored fertilisers from a godawn of a fertilizer dealer at village Alokdia under Chuadanga Sadar Upazila here on Sunday, police said.

They also arrested four persons, including two Deputy Agriculture Officers of Sadar Agriculture Extension Depar-tment (AED).

The arrested were identified as fertiliser dealer Roni Biswas and his brother Modhu Biswas, and AED officers are Nazmul Haque and Abdul Hamid.
