Drug traders held in Jamalpur BSS, Jamalpur Police in a raid arrested two drug traders along with ganja from the bus stand of Sarishabari in the district on Tuesday night. The arrested were identified as Abul Hashem, 42, son of Shamser Ali at village Shingair Beel and Jashim, 24, son of Abdul Jabbar of village Kashinagar of Brahmanbaria district. Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a drive at the bus stand and after searching a bus arrived from Dhaka seized six kg ganja and arrested two person in this connection. A case was registered with Sarishabari thana police in connection.
