Organising Secretary of Awami League Saber Hossain Chowdhury thanked the caretaker government for taking necessary measures for better treatment of party chief Sheikh Hasina abroad.

He was speaking at an extended meeting of District Awami League as the chief guest at district bar association here on Friday.

Saber Hossain Chowdhury urged the party leaders and workers to maintain a greater unity and gear up activities at all level. With Principal Motiur Rahman, president of district unit of Awami League, in the chair, it was addressed, among others, by local party leaders Osim Kumar Ukil, Abdul Matin Sarker, Nazimuddin Ahmed, Mahbubul Haque Shakel and Advocate Abu Roza.
