A peaceful home
By freeing AL Chief Sheikh Hasina on parole, the Government has indeed shown a gesture of goodwill and genuine sympathy. This step, I am sure, will greatly help the present caretaker government to move ahead towards realizing its goal to holding a free and fair elections in the coming December.
Meanwhile it is sincerely expected that same type of gesture will be extended to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and her two ailing sons.
In fact, the common citizens of Bangladesh heartily want an end to all hostilities, chaos, confusions, and mistrusts. Let Bangladesh once again emerge as a democratic country where people can live happily and peacefully having two meals a day, thick cloth, and a small abode called 'home, sweet home'!

Water Logging & Vulnerable Soil Quality
In recent time water logging become a serious problem for public life & environment specially for soil quality. This is happen due to lack of proper drainage system. A water logged(water saturated)soil is subject to drastic changes in physical, chemical & biological properties. Oxygen in such soil is rapidly used up by the respiration of micro-organism degrading organic matter. The soil structure is disrupted as the bond holding soil colloidal particles together are disintegrated. Soil nutrient & fertility is also loss for water logging. The surplus water is unfavourable for plant growth & the soil does not contain air required by most plant roots. So plant growth is hampered & we face lack of oxygen for breathe. Most useful crops except rice cannot grow on water logged soils, these will also create scarcity of food. So, Government should take immediate action to establish proper drainage system & people should not dispose their waste into drain for solving these problems.
