Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 10 alleged militants from different places of Sadar Upazila in the district on Saturday.

RAB sources said, being informed that a group of militants were holding a secret meeting at Dingedh Government Fish Farm under sadar upazila, a team of the elite force raided the place and arrested six alleged militants from there at around 8.30 PM on Saturday.

Following their confession four other militants were also arrested from different places of Chuadanga town.

The arrested acknowledged that they are the members of outlawed 'Allahar Dal' led by Matin Mehedi of Gaibandha district, who is now under police custody.

The arrested were identified as Ziaur Rahman Sujan of Radhanagar, Pabna, Omar Ali of Magura district, Enayetullah Prince, Shahin Iqbal Suman, Palash, Ariful Islam Arif, Suman all of Chuadanga sadar upazila, Sukur Ali, Rashedul and Kamol Mandol all of Alamdanga upazila of the district.

They were handed over to Chuadanga Sadar Thana police.
