The New Nation - Internet Edition

A workshop on "Business Promotion and Capacity Enhancement" was held for the Managers, Investment Officers, Foreign Trade and Remittance Officers of Comilla Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited recently at BARD's Auditorium, Comilla. It was organized by Comilla Zone of the bank.

Mominul Islam Patwary, Chairman, Executive Committee of the bank was present in the workshop as chief guest and M Fariduddin Ahmad, Managing Director of the bank as special guest.

The sessions were presided over by Md. Najibur Rahman, Executive Vice President and Zonal Head, Comilla. The workshop was addressed by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Investment Wing and Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Head of International Banking Wing.

Mominul Islam Patwary emphasised upon the development of professional efficiency and quality of all staff and officials of the bank in order to make Islami Bank as a model bank in the arena of Islami Banking.
