Begum and son Al Helal, of Patuakhali district, met the tragic end, while returning to Jeddah after performing ziarat of Madina Sharif. Foreign Adviser Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury has expressed his profound shock at the death of the three members of the ill-fated family.

He prayed for them and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.

The Foreign Adviser has already given directive to the officials concerned of the Bangladesh Embassy in Jeddah to return the bodies in time.
