Task force nabs 11 Customs, Biman staff at Zia
Eleven Customs and Biman employees were arrested yesterday at Zia International Airport by the members of joint forces for their alleged involvement in corruption. FocusBangla Staff Reporter A special task force yesterday arrested 11 staff of customs and Biman from the ZIA International Airport for their involvement in manipulating measurement of goods for pecuniary gain. The task force drive at the Airport was conducted for helping the Biman Bangladesh Airlines to be more dynamic and profitable organisation by removing corruption and irregularities from the national flag carrier. On a tip off, the task force swooped on the weighing counter and caught red-handed five Customs officials and six Biman staff of the airport.
