Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi cattle trader at a border point in Roumari upazila early yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Kafil Uddin, 38, resident of Bhundur Char in Roumari upazila. BDR said BSF Jawans fired five gun shots as Kafil, who was going to India, reached the zero line of Baraibari border, killing him on the spot.

Later, the Indian border guards dragged away his body to their land. Meanwhile, company commander of Baraibari BOP has protested the killing of the Bangladeshi by BSF.
