Niko graft case: Khaleda, co-accused to be produced in court May 20 UNB, Dhaka The trial court yesterday fixed May 20 for producing detained former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and other co-accused before it in the Niko graft case, as they were not brought in yesterday. Five others who are already in jail are former Law Minister Barrister Moudud Ahmed and former State Minister for energy AKM Mosharraf Hossain, controversial businessman Giasuddin Al Mamoon, former acting energy secretary Shahidul Islam and ex-President of Dhaka Club Selim Bhuiyan. Meanwhile, two other accused persons surrendered before the Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court today. The two-former general manager and former additional secretary of Bapex Meer Moynul Haque and its former secretary Shafiur Rahman-were sent to jail. The court also directed the authority concerned to publish advertisement in newspapers asking the remaining fugitives to appear before the court on May 20, when hearing is set to commence.
