The Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry has appointed 390 assistant judges/judicial magistrates.

According to a gazette notification, they have been posted to various districts and directed to report to the district judges/judicial magistrates on their joining by May 22, said a official Handout on Monday.

The newly-appointed assistant judges/judicial magistrates shall have to receive training on court proceedings under the district judges for a week since the date of joining.

Their services will be made permanent after completing a two-year probation period, taking specific training and passing departmental examinations.
