Concerted efforts to develop primary education underscored

Speakers at a discussion meeting underscored the need for quality education at Primary Level to make worthy citizens of the country.

They called upon teachers, guardians and members of the managing committees for taking concerted efforts to develop the quality of primary education as well as the quality of students.

They said this while addressing a discussion meeting organised to develop Primary Education and prize awarding function held recently at Mankin Binud Bari Government Primary School premises in Muktagacha Upazila.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer AKM Tipu Sultan was present as chief guest while upazila primary education Officer Abu Haris, journalist AZM Imamuddin Mukta and Harun-or-Rashid, EEO of Amtali in Borgona district were the special guests. Hasan Sarker, President of School Managing Committee presided over the function. Welcoming the guests. Head Teacher of the school Mesbah Uddin presented annual performance report of the school.

Speakers emphasised on regular attendance of students in the school and mothers' initiatives in this respect. After discussion, chief guest UNO AKM Tipu Sultan distributed prizes among the best students of the school. Uniforms were also distributed among the poor students of the school.
