Humayun Kabir appointed non-resident Ambassador to Brazil

M Humayun Kabir, currently serving as Bangladesh Ambassador to USA, has been appointed non-resident Ambassador to Brazil.

Humayun Kabir, earlier, served as the High Commissioner in Australia in 2006-07 and Ambassador in Nepal in 2003-06. He also served as DG (SAARC), DG (South Asia) and DG (UN) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during 2001-2003, said a press release yesterday.
