Dacoity committed in Madaripur

A daring dacoity was committed in the house of a senior warrant officer of Bangladesh Army Golam Mostafa at Kawri village under Kendue union of Sadar Upazila of the district on April 16 last.

The masked dacoits numbering about 8/10 broke open the grill of window of his house. Entering the house they held all the inmates hostage with lethal weapons and looted 5 tolas of gold ornaments, Taka 3,000 in cash, several mobile sets, rechargeable lights, etc.
