Satisfying all the required criteria, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka received Blood Bank license from Directorate of Health, Government of Bangladesh, first of its kind in Dhaka Metropolitan City.

Under this license, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka would be entitled to collecting blood, processing, various testing, preparation and separation of blood component, storage, preservation, sale and distribution of whole blood and blood component.

This license is the recognition of the hospital's ongoing steps for ensuring quality healthcare in Bangladesh, a press release said.
